Parallel H3 Processes

Within the third house there are 2 parallel paths available to entrepreneurs. The funding-driven path is investor-driven and practiced in Silicon Valley and has a "fund" step which can be inserted anywhere in the process, prior to the business model . The Bootstrap Path has an optional "fund" step which occurs after the emergence of the business model. The Bootstrap Method describes the latter process and is studied in House 1 as "effectuation."
Existing organizations must also develop the capacity to generate new business models in addition to executing and improving their existing business model.
